What's the coolest thing you've learned in Web Design so far? Why is it so cool and how can it help you in the future?

The coolest thing I have learned was how to code websites to make it look better. It's cool since not a lot of people know how to perfectly code items to make everything look nice. It can help me in the future for a online job resume and I would just have a website for it to further express who I am.

Define 'User Experience'. What does it mean and how does it relate to web design? Explain yourself.

The definition of user experience is the overall experience of someone using a website or application like how easy it is to use. It relates to web design since we have the opportunities to enhance user satisfaction by improving the usability, ease of use, and happiness it provides from the user and the product.

What is a resume website? What do people put on resume websites. Spend about 5-10 minutes looking up resume websites and what they are used for. Explain what you find. Include an image of a resume website if possible.

A resume website is a creative and unique way to feature your resume. You can give yourself a professional appearance online and you can share your resume, portfolio, and accomplishments to anyone who wants to see it. An online resume gives you more control over first impressions and who you are instead of just what you've done.

What are you doing for Spring Break?

I'm going to Galveston, Texas for spring break. We have some family friends that live in Houston. So we get together and rent a beach house or two for a week for break. For the whole break the schedule is usually go to the beach, come home for lunch, and then go back to the beach till we are tired for the night. We already have the whole vacation planned and now we are just waiting to go.

The weather is supposed to be nice and warm which is going to be great for going to the beach.

Tell me about your weekend.

This weekend basically included waking up early on Saturday to go to my sister's soccer game and waking up early on Sunday to lead church with REZ Orchestra and Bells. We lead two services, 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Other than that I did nothing but eat food, watching tv, and watching Grey's Anatomy. Sunday night, I watched the season opener for Sporting KC.

Friday, March 6

If you were the Principal for a week at BVHS, what would that look like? What changes would you make? Why?

I would change the lunch time and passing periods to make them longer. I would also change the start of school to be either 8:30 a.m. or 9:00a.m. I would change the wifi so it would work in school. It has troubled a lot of students at trying to get work done.

Tell me about your weekend.

This weekend was State for wrestling. Since we had four guys qualify, the managers could go, which means I could go. I missed school all day Thursday and Friday. We drove down to Wichita last Thursday and then arrived at our hotel which was Best Western North Wichita. On Thursday, Mr. Ortman took the managers to Chipotle for dinner since some of the guys couldn't eat dinner to make weight. On Friday, we went to breakfast at the hotel then headed off to the Hartman Arena around 8 a.m. We watched wrestling for the whole day from around 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Before we got back to the hotel, everyone who didn't wrestle went to go pick up Olive Garden. On Saturday, we left the hotel around 8 a.m. after we ate breakfast and packed all of our stuff. The rest of the day was spent again watching more wrestling. We watched close to 500 wrestling matches in two days. Once the wrestling was over, we drove for 30 minutes to get to Braum's for dinner. Then we drove home, we got home around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
